Tips for New Students
The University of Melbourne Master of Nursing Science is a two-year Masters-level program for entry-to-practice nurses. It is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (formerly Nurses Board of Victoria).
MUNSS is aware that it can be an anxious time for first years who are interested in the program. The 2023 MUNSS Committee have put together a FAQ sheet that may help you prepare for your first year!
There are other costs on top of what you may expect for this course outside of tuition and living fees. The 2023 MUNSS Committee has put together an estimated cost list of things that are compulsory and things that are non-compulsory.
Memberships are available on the UMSU website. Make sure you are signed in with your UniMelb account.
$30 for current UniMelb students for the duration of your degree.
